課程概述 |
This course is to give the new thinkings of how people get benefits from the natural landscape. Let students knowing the methods of measuring the naturalness level of the landscape and also learn the methods of measuring the benefits of psychological and physiological benefits. |
課程目標 |
The purpose of course is to provide the research information of "healthy landscape healthy people" studies. The related field includes the analysis of landscape elements, landscape ecology, landscape preference, attention restoration, biofeedback indicators...etc. All the themes will include the concepts and will following an opportunity to practice. |
課程要求 |
1. Discussions, all the student will be required to express their opinions about the studies provided in this course.
2. Both midterm and final exam(report) is required. Student will need to use both the diagrams and words to describe and analysis the landscape benefits.
3. The main structure of paper reading includes:
(1)Research problem and purpose
Research problem - State with a lower barrel, use a question mark in the end of the first sentence(s).
Research purpose - The purpose that really mean something, can uncover the solid contributions of this study
Research delimitation - Something that not able to control in this study (almost impossible to control)
(2) Important references and comments
Important literature - Old and big theories, Studies that you NEED to mention.
(3) Concept(s) in this study
Independent variables - Concept, definition, the meaning in this study
Dependent variables - Concept, definition, will be the main role of this study
Relationship between variables - Concepts and meanings of these relationships, their theoretical basis
Research framework - must show all variables (concepts), link their relationships as the research hypotheses
Research hypotheses - based on the lines between variables in the framework
(4)Data collecting procedures and research instruments
Data collection procedure
Tools and Instruments
Sampling methods
(5)Data analysis and result
Data analysis - Same order with the research hypotheses
Analysis results - Answer the hypotheses one by one (same order)
(6)Discussions and conclusions
Discussions - State the researches purposes then answer them one by one, alternative interpretations (ask questions and give answers)
Conclusion - State the research problem(s) then answer it, emphasize the contribution of this study
Further research - not to vilify your study but to provide a rainbow perspective of this study |
